Introducing Yo Mamba

This is my first 5" FPV drone that I have built myself. It is an aftermarket frame compared to an Apex that I picked up for like $25, all used parts I purchased from a friend who was previously into the quad world. It has some good parts for sure! Mamba 722 stack with Mamba analog VTX running 2.4Ghz ELRS receiver. Power train is 4S with 2207  1865kv motors. Cheapest I could get in the air to test out this addiction.

The videos are a start to this part of a hobby. I have watched multiple videos on learning to fly one of these things and spent hours in a sim. This is what I get. I was completely shocked when I actually tried flying IRL. The guys who are teaching you to fly might as well be professional pilots. Just sayin'! This is what to really expect when you first put on a pair of goggles and start ripping around the field.

All I can say is practice with purpose! Throttle control, hovering, yaw, flips, and rolls. Each one independently till you can confidently say, I can do this to avoid a crash. Ha! I have crashed so many times!

I hope to find time to do a voice over on these videos soon to help explain what I am doing and why. For now pay attention to the captions and remember this is first time for real!

Just getting started on this stuff, I am addicted and hope I can get through the roughest part of learning before I tear up all my stuff!
